The property is situated on the Beg-meil penisular, just 600 meters from two secluded beaches on the bay of La Forêt Fouesnant (opposite Concarneau). With another 14 km of beaches of all styles in the surrounding area.
There are many nature trails, whether walking or cycling starting from the front door, these will take you around the bay, across the polders (nature reserves) and along beach paths of stunning beauty.
Fouesnant is a very well serviced and picturesque village 1.5 km away. In the summer a multitude of activities are organised Bretonne festivals(costumes and music), every 2 or 3 nights free concerts are organised of all musical styles. The weekly market is must.
Other places nearby to visit : Quimper with it's medival streets, Cathedral and fantastic shopping. All the hypermarkets are represented on the outskirts.
Concarneau with it's walled city and active fishing port visits possible.
Pont-Aven and it's arty connection.
Benodet has beach front bars and restaurants and casino.
La Torche for the surfers, kite surfers, windsurfers or just relaxers.
